YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK–Yosemite National Park officials have closed two well-known roads in the park due to the possibility of snow in the area from a developing winter storm. The roads closed at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 27th. They will be reevaluated after the storm passes. Tioga Pass (continuation of Highway 120 through the park) and Glacier Point Road are the affected roads.

Additionally, chains may be required at any time. Vehicle code devices, including chains or cables, must be carried in or upon vehicles entering a signed and designated chain control zone. This includes all 4-wheel and all-wheel drive vehicles.
