O’NEALS — Minarets High School, along with the Minarets Foundation, have been working for over a decade to create lasting and impactful sports and educational programs. The Minarets Foundation is a nonprofit organization. This foundation plays a key role in supporting over 23 youth feeder and school programs financially. Now, these efforts are paying off with both the high school and youth programs experiencing success on the field.

To begin, the Minarets community strongly believes in the power of great culture. Therefore, it’s emphasized that strong systems are key to building exceptional school and athletic programs. Building these programs requires a huge commitment from the people involved. Chawanakee staff, coaches, and volunteers dedicate countless hours of time and work to support the students.
Consequently, the results speak for themselves. The youth and high school football and cheer programs are thriving. Thus, being a testament to the planning, hard work and commitment that has been invested over the years.
Football Teams Flourish
The Minarets Football Team showcases the dedication and community support, leading the charge with pride and unity.
In turn, the Minarets High School varsity football team is currently undefeated with a 3 – 0 record. Also impressive, the junior varsity team posting a 2 – 0 – 1 record. Meanwhile, the Minarets youth programs are showing similar success. The Seniors team boasts with a 3 – 0 record, while the Juniors have earned a 2 – 1 record.
Accordingly, these results show the growing success of Minarets athletics. All while continuing to build a foundation for future success.
