US: Anantara Miami Resort & Residences will become the luxury brand’s first in the United States, expected to open in 2030.
Developed in partnership with One Thousand Group, the 50-storey tower stands above Biscayne Bay with architecture by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) in collaboration with ODP Architecture & Design, and interiors by Patricia Urquiola.
It will feature 100 private branded residences and 120 resort residences, in addition to 50 hotel suites.
Amenities include a vitality centre with wellness programming such as Thai healing traditions, and a rooftop helipad.
William E Heinecke, founder and chairman of Minor International, said: “True luxury is time, the freedom to pause, to explore, and to experience the world more deeply. Miami is the perfect location for the debut of our luxury Anantara brand into the U.S., and we are excited to partner with One Thousand Group to bring this vision to reality.”
Kevin Venger, co-founder of One Thousand Group, said: “Anantara Miami Resort & Residences introduces something entirely new to the US. It’s not just another branded residence, but a fully realised concept that blends hospitality, private ownership and longevity into one unified experience.”
Michael Konig, co-founder of One Thousand Group, added: “Our approach has always been to anticipate where the market is going and develop buildings that don’t yet exist in Miami. With Anantara, we saw an opportunity to bring a globally respected brand into a market that is ready for something more meaningful and experience-driven.”
Sales are anticipated to launch later this year, with One Sotheby’s International Realty appointed as the exclusive sales partner.
