Italy: Developer and investor Bohopo has opened Casa Laveni, a 30-room boutique hotel in Milan.
Located on Via de Bossi in the Brera district, within walking distance of the Duomo di Milano, the hotel is situated inside a restored neoclassical palazzo. It has been designed by Delogu Architecture in collaboration with Studio Sacchi Architetti.
Along with 30 guest rooms, Casa Laveni features a lobby/salon, a self-service bar, and a basement gym and wellness area.
“As Milan continues to assert itself as one of Europe’s most dynamic cultural capitals, Casa Laveni represents a new vanguard of hospitality, one that is deeply anchored in the city’s architectural and cultural heritage while ushering in a more imaginative, design-led future,” said Minas Terlidis, Bohopo co-founder and CEO. “We’ve envisioned the hotel as a natural extension of Brera’s creative rhythm. Each moment feels distinctly Milanese yet subtly unexpected, with a sense of intimacy that feels like home.”
Patrick Saada, chairman of Bohopo’s board, added: “We are incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished in Milan. Securing such a remarkable property in the heart of Brera and transforming it into one of the city’s most distinctive boutique hotels is a testament to the strength of Bohopo’s vision and execution capabilities. This project perfectly reflects our ability to identify, acquire, and repurpose prime real estate into exceptional lifestyle destinations. We look forward to welcoming guests and offering them a truly unique experience in one of the world’s most iconic cities.”
Casa Laveni will be the latest to open out of Bohopo’s 11 current assets and its first in Italy, with sites in Brussels, Belgium and Porto, Portugal under construction.
