If you want an easy, math-free way to make sure you’re maximizing your rewards in the Bilt 2.0 world, today’s your lucky day. We’ve built a calculator just for you.

As you may know, the Bilt program gives you a number of options when it comes to how you earn and use rewards in the Bilt ecosystem. If you have one of the three new Bilt credit cards, you can choose between two different approaches for earning rewards on your rent or mortgage payments.

The current Bilt credit cards are:

  • Bilt Blue Card (see rates and fees): Receive $100 in Bilt Cash when you apply and are approved.
  • Bilt Obsidian Card (see rates and fees): Receive $200 in Bilt Cash when you apply and are approved.
  • Bilt Palladium Card (see rates and fees): Earn 50,000 bonus points and Bilt Gold status (through the rest of the calendar year in which it was earned and the following calendar year) after spending $4,000 on everyday purchases in the first 90 days from account opening. Additionally, cardholders receive $300 in Bilt Cash upon approval and $200 in additional annual Bilt Cash.

With these cards, you can earn points on your housing payment in simple tiers — ranging from 0.25 to 1.25 points per dollar — depending on how much you spend on your Bilt card that statement period relative to your housing payment.

Or, you can earn Bilt Cash (alongside Bilt Points) on everyday purchases and use that Bilt Cash to unlock the ability to earn points on your housing payment.

Choices are great. They let you personalize your strategy and potentially maximize your rewards. But when there are a couple of paths to choose from, it can also lead to analysis paralysis — and, sometimes, that nagging feeling that you didn’t pick the most optimal option.

Enter: the new TPG Bilt 2.0 Calculator.

With this new TPG Bilt 2.0 Calculator, you can input information unique to your own spending and housing payment situation and get instant recommendations on whether you’ll come out further ahead with Bilt’s simplified housing-only tiered earning structure or the Bilt Cash earning structure.

To use the TPG Bilt 2.0 Calculator, you’ll enter:

  • The amount of your monthly housing payment
  • Your expected monthly spending in various categories

The TPG Bilt 2.0 Calculator will then recommend the most rewarding earning pathway between the simple housing-only tiers and Bilt Cash. You can hover over the option it recommends to see how many more points you’d earn with that one versus the other.

You’ll also be able to see which of the three Bilt credit cards is likely the most lucrative one for you based on your spending patterns.

TPG

By default, the calculator uses TPG’s February 2026 valuation of 2.2 cents per Bilt point, reflecting the value available through Bilt’s strong transfer partners. However, you can adjust that valuation to 1 cent per point if you plan to redeem points for a mix of options like:

  • Booking through the Bilt Travel portal (1.25 cents per point)
  • Student loan payments (1 cent per point)
  • Rent credits or Amazon purchases (typically less than 1 cent per point)

You can also choose whether to include built-in card credits, like the $400 in Bilt Travel portal credits for hotel bookings that come with the Bilt Palladium Card, in the recommendation. And if you’d prefer to exclude welcome bonuses from the math, simply select “Year 2+” instead of “Year 1.”

Bottom line

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by all the new information and choices to make around the Bilt 2.0 program, that’s understandable. But choice can be a really powerful thing when it helps you tailor the way you earn to maximize your rewards.

Now, with TPG’s new Bilt 2.0 Calculator, making Bilt 2.0 choices is as easy as entering your unique spending details and checking out the recommendations to see how you can earn as many points as possible.
