UK: Bowood Estate in Wiltshire has appointed Kathrin Cockhill as head of business development, a newly created role for the property.
Cockhill brings more than 20 years of experience in UK and international sales management to Bowood, having worked for companies including Hilton, Center Parcs, Andrew Brownsword Hotels, and more recently as the commercial global director of HotStats.
In her new role, Cockhill is responsible for developing, leading, and driving revenue growth for the entire Estate, which comprises the Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort and Bowood House & Gardens.
Cockhill said: “It is a great privilege to help shape the future vision of Bowood and play a part in its evolution. Bowood has such a historically rich offer, and I’m looking forward to building on this to create new, desirable experiences for our guests.
“Bowood is a special destination with the potential to expand on its already comprehensive guest and visitor offer. As such, I’m excited to be working with the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences for a number of new launches coming this year across the Estate,” she added.

Bowood Estate has been home to the Lansdowne family for more than 250 years.
Bowood Hotel sits within the 2,000-acre Bowood Estate. Alongside accommodation, it offers dining venues, function spaces, a spa, and a PGA championship 18-hole golf course.
Bowood House & Gardens has been open to the public for 50 years, with day guests and season ticket holders arriving from April to November each year. Bowood House also hosts a number of events throughout the year including Classic Ibiza, car shows, and open-air theatre.
