Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has named Todd Paladini as its first chief information officer, a position created to modernize the chain’s technology infrastructure as it expands across North America.
A veteran of the IT sector, Paladini joins Freddy’s with more than 20 years of experience. He previously led technology departments for Cafe Rio Mexican Grill and Cinemark, and has extensive experience managing international IT operations in Central and South America.
“Todd’s deep experience leading technology for high-growth, multi-unit brands both domestically and internationally makes him the right leader to build this new function and help us scale with intention,” Chris Dull, president and CEO of Freddy’s, said in a company press release.
The appointment comes as Freddy’s, which currently operates more than 580 locations across 36 states, shifts toward a technology-first growth strategy. In his new role, Paladini will work with stakeholders to optimize systems and align tech investments with the brand’s expansion throughout the United States and Canada.
“Freddy’s has built a reputation for exceptional food and genuine hospitality,” Paladini said. “I’m thrilled to be able to contribute to that unique experience for all of our FredHeads.”
Founded in 2002, the Wichita-based fast-casual franchise has earned national recognition for its cooked-to-order steakburgers and frozen custard. The company is seeking single- and multi-unit franchisees to continue its growth trajectory.
