US: Luxury hotel company Kempinski Group will open its first branded residence project in the United States, a standalone project located in Miami.

Developed by Miami-based DaGrosa Capital Development Partners LLC, Kempinski Residences Miami Design District will be designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Rockwell Group. The parties aim to finish construction in Miami’s Design District by late 2029.

When complete, it will include 132 apartments split between two 20-storey towers, as well as six townhomes. 17 suites will be made exclusively available to purchase by residents.

Residences will range between two- and four-bedrooms measuring from 2,100 to 3,100 square feet. A third floor “amenity bridge” is planned to connect the two towers.

Wellness offerings include a fitness centre, spa, padel court, lap pool and cold plunge, infrared and steam saunas and an outdoor training area. Other amenities include a restaurant with terrace seating, a library with wine and game lounges, golf and Formula 1 simulators, and a screening room. For children, a playroom and splash pad will be available.

Barbara Muckermann, CEO of Kempinski Group, said: “Miami is where timeless luxury and visionary development converge at the highest level, making it the ideal setting to introduce Europe’s oldest luxury hospitality brand. Our ethos of ‘The Good Life’ will offer an elevated, urban lifestyle to residents that resonates deeply with the vibrant destination – celebrating culture, connection and authentic living while being supported by our European elegance, design, and legendary service.”

DaGrosa founder and chairman, Joseph DaGrosa, said: “Bringing Kempinski’s first US branded residences to Miami is a significant moment. The Design District has become a globally-recognised cultural and culinary destination where art, design and high-end luxury retail experiences converge. With luxury residences across the world, Kempinski’s reputation is built on bringing their unique flair for the art of fine living, rooted in heritage, luxury and service excellence to similar developments. That alignment is what makes this project credible and enduring.”
