A recent study conducted by the golf apparel brand Galvin Green reveals analyzed Google review data from over 8,500 golf courses across the United States to identify the most-reviewed locations. The findings revealed that Sand Hollow Resort in Hurricane, Utah, holds the top position by a significant margin. With 1,882 reviews and a 4.4-star rating, the resort garnered more than double the number of reviews compared to its closest competitor. This highlights the popularity of destination resorts that combine golf with other vacation amenities and scenic backdrops, such as Utah’s red rock landscapes.

The remaining top ten list was largely dominated by courses on the East Coast, rather than traditional golf strongholds like California or Florida. Ron Jaworski’s Valleybrook Country Club in New Jersey took second place with 842 reviews, followed closely by the renowned Bethpage Black Golf Course in New York, which secured the third spot. Notably, Bethpage Black also achieved the highest quality rating among the top ten, with a score of 4.8 stars. Florida, despite its reputation as a golfing hub, only managed to place one course on the list: Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club, which came in sixth. The data suggests that golfers in the Northeastern and Southeastern United States are particularly active in sharing their experiences online.
