The supplies consisted of 24 pallets, weighing over five tons, containing critically needed items such as hygiene kits, medical supplies, and other essential goods.

When combined with the cruise ship’s shipment, the total aid effort amounts to 144 pallets, weighing 68 tons. This comprehensive delivery represents one of the largest private-sector relief initiatives supporting Jamaica’s post-storm recovery efforts.

In November, Carnival Corporation, the Miami HEAT, and the Micky & Madeleine Arison Family Foundation collectively contributed a $1 million donation to Direct Relief. This funding made these substantial shipments possible and will also support long-term recovery efforts across the affected region.
