US: Construction on the 53-room boutique hotel Alyvia is due to begin early next year, set within the $500 million Mill District master plan in Healdsburg, Sonoma County.

Owned and developed by Replay Destinations in partnership with Mayacama Hospitality Group, Alyvia will feature 53 rooms including 12 residences, a restaurant and bar, a spa and a fitness centre overlooking a pool and pool deck.

Interior design will be led by DLR Group BraytonHughes, with architecture by Dunnigan Sprinkle. It is due to open by mid-2028.

Rachel Fischbach, principal and hospitality leader at DLR Group BraytonHughes, said: “We set out to craft spaces that possess a spirit of their own while remaining deeply connected to the distinctive charm of Healdsburg. Every colour, finish and material was thoughtfully selected to stir the senses and tell a story — one that reflects the natural beauty, cultural richness and warm hospitality of the region. We aimed to create an experience that feels grounded and transportive, memorable and truly meaningful.”

Greg Ashley, chief strategy officer at Replay, said: “Alyvia represents the next evolution of our vision for Mill District, one that brings together community, design and a deep connection to Sonoma wine country. In pairing intimate hospitality with a prime downtown location, we’re creating an animated destination that feels both personal and unforgettable, just steps from downtown Healdsburg.”

The hotel will be located within the 10-acre, mixed-use community of Mill District. Canopy is the first collection of luxury residences available at Mill District, featuring 43 condominiums.
