Garden Catering, a family-owned chicken nugget chain that has served fans since 1978, is opening next week at the Heights Crossing development in Darien, Connecticut.

Situated directly across from the Noroton Train Station, the location will feature some indoor seating and the brand’s refreshed design, which was recently unveiled at its relocated Port Chester, New York store.

The opening precedes the launch of the brand’s 10th location in Shelton, scheduled to follow in the coming weeks, underscoring the company’s expansion across Connecticut and New York, according to a press release.

To celebrate, Garden Catering will host a grand opening week from Dec. 1-6, which will feature a slate of giveaways, special pricing and a community giveback initiative.

“We’re excited to become part of daily life in Darien — the after-practice stop, the weekend go-to, and a neighbor that supports local schools and nonprofits,” Frank Carpenteri Jr., CEO of Garden Catering, said in the release.

Garden Catering, which began in Old Greenwich nearly 50 years ago and is now run by siblings Frank Jr. and Tina Carpenteri, has a long-standing commitment to giving back, having donated over $500,000 to local nonprofits, with a focus on youth organizations and pediatric cancer research.
