Princess Cruises Makes Changes to Deposits and Final Payments

Princess Cruises has made two changes that affect non-refundable deposits and the final payment schedule for some of their cruises.

Non-Refundable Deposits

Starting today, Princess Cruises has expanded the types of cruise fares that default to non-refundable deposits.

Deposits that are paid within three days are non-refundable, unless upgraded to a refundable deposit at the time of booking. Cruisers will have the choice to choose either a refundable or non-refundable deposit on select fares when booking a Princess cruise.

As part of this change, non-refundable deposit amounts are currently being promoted at half price. This policy applies to all future cruises and is available to legal residents of North America.

This change only applies to cruises booked on or after October 15, 2025.

Final Payments

Princess Cruises has also made a change to their final payment schedule. This change took effect last week for all cruises booked on or after October 8, 2025.

For cruises that are 13 days and shorter, final payment is now due 90 prior to the cruise.

For sailings that are 14 days and longer, final payment is now due 120 days prior to the cruise.
