$35 million revamped La Valle Coastal Club adds Guesthouse hotel

US: Boutique property Guesthouse, Hotel at La Valle has opened as party of the $35 million transformation of La Valle Coastal Club in Rancho Santa Fe, North County San Diego. 

The 77-room Guesthouse has opened following a $15 million renovation led by San Diego-based firm Hannah Gabriel Wells. 

Managed by Springboard Hospitality and owned by Meriwether Companies, it sits on the 200-acre La Valle Coastal Club, located around three miles from the beaches of Del Mar.

Guests of Guesthouse will receive exclusive access to the Club’s resort-style pool, racquet sports facilities, fitness center and social putting green. The Club has also introduced eight tennis courts, eight pickleball courts, two private Padel courts, and an 18-holes championship golf course. Renovations are underway on the final nine holes of the 27-hole golf course, including a new short game area and expanded driving range expected to be completed this autumn. 

Construction is also in progress on the spa and hydrotherapy circuit which will feature an infrared sauna, dry sauna and cold plunge areas, along with major clubhouse upgrades including the restaurant and event spaces. Swimming pool construction is set to begin in the autumn. 

For an additional fee, guests of Guesthouse can also book spa treatments, semi-private Pilates sessions, group fitness classes and tee times on the Club’s championship golf course.
