Italy: Boutique brand Milu has opened its second hotel in Italy, located in the Porta Venezia district of Milan. 

Hotel Milu Milano joins Milu Florence which opened in 2016.

Designed by architect and designer Alex Meitlis, the Milan hotel has been repositioned from the former Mercure Milano Centro. It is located at Piazza Guglielmo Oberdan, 12, 20129 Milano.

The hotel offers 32 rooms divided into seven size categories, all with artwork by Carmel Ilan. Communal spaces include an all-day lounge serving complimentary wine, soft drinks, teas and coffees. 

The Milu brand is part of a broader hospitality collection that includes Hotel Calimala (with locations in Milan and Florence) as well as the Angel Rooftop & Dining and Mezè Wild Dining (both in Florence). 

Highlights:

• Milu has launched Hotel Milu Milano, its second branded boutique hotel in Italy, located in Milan’s Porta Venezia district.

• It has been repositioned from the Mercure Milano Centro, led by architect Alex Meitlis.

• The hotel features 32 art-filled rooms and an all-day lounge.

• The Milu brand belongs to a wider collection which also includes Hotel Calimala in Milan and Florence, plus two dining venues in Florence.
