Ireland: Lifestyle hotel brand citizenM has opened its first property in Ireland, a 245-key hotel in Dublin.

citizenM Dublin St Patrick’s is located directly opposite St Patrick’s Cathedral in The Liberties neighbourhood, inside a brutalist building by Irish architect Sam Stephenson.

The hotel features a 24/7 canteenM, a terrace, and meeting rooms called societyM, which are also open to the public.

In collaboration with the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), each room features bespoke diptychs by local artists, curated by IMMA’s head of programming Mary Cremin.

The hotel’s exterior also features public artworks, including a bronze-cast lyric by Dublin rapper Malaki and a new mural by Claire Prouvost.
