Virgin Voyages, an adults only cruise line, is making seven new changes in 2025 to make their cruises even better.
Virgin Voyages’ CEO, Nirmal Saverimuttu, sent a letter to First Mates (travel agents) about different ways the cruise line will make their cruises even better in 2025.
Here are the seven changes being made by Virgin going into next year.
Pricing
Virgin Voyages is ditching dynamic pricing on cruises so prices will be more steady and stable. Core pricing will be set to match similar sailings so you can trust that booking early is the best price.
New App
The cruise line is also rolling out a new onboard app. This Phase 1 Beta version will soon be available and will make booking dining easier than ever before.
As Saverimuttu said in the email, booking dining will no longer be like the “Hunger Games”.
Longer Open Windows for Bookings
Virgin is opening new cruises for bookings earlier than ever. The cruise line will open sailings in the spring of 2027 before the end of the year.
Cruises will be available to book at least two years or more in advance.
More Itineraries
Virgin is also adding new itineraries that range from four- to 16-nights in length. They added more than 30 new itineraries that visit 25 new ports.
The cruise line will sail from New York, through the Panama Canal, along the West Coast and in Alaska for the first time.
New Dining Options
Virgin is giving menus in the restaurants and Galley on their cruise ships an update.Â
This includes a new concept that will debut in Razzle Dazzle on Scarlet Lady called Lucky Lotus.
More Entertainment Variety
Virgin said that they are adding more comedy shows, more live music, and updated shows across their fleet.
Groups
This last change is just for First Mates. Virgin is giving a 10% discount on all Groups and Circles with no minimum number of cabins to lock in the savings.Â
10 booked cabins in a group will earn a travel conductor cabin or agents can choose a 2% bonus commission starting in early 2025.
