Japan: Management company SH Hotels & Resorts will open the 1 Hotel Tokyo next year, located in the city’s Akasaka district.
Developed by Mori Trust, 1 Hotel Tokyo will form part of a mixed-use development featuring retail and offices.
The hotel will offer 211 guest rooms including suites, a main restaurant and bar accessed from the 38th-floor lobby, a spa with indoor pool and outdoor terrace, as well as 473 square-metres of meeting and event space.
It has achieved a Rank S certification from CASBEE (Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency).
